Licensed Dental Hygienist (Coming Soon)

Research shows the two top inner-office issues lay in the hands of service inconsistencies and misunderstandings. We have courses to address each scenario:

TEAM UNITY

The field of dentistry continues to change with the ebb & flow of the world market and strains of insurance allowances on patient care. Most offices have been forced to make undesirable changes for profit margins to stay afloat, while the direct effect has causes fatigue on the whole dental team and unfortunate reduced quality of patient care. Hygiene time allocation belts have been tightened once again and the question that needs to be answered is,"Is it possible to still deliver quality patient preventive care when conducting services under constrained time allotments?" We can show hygiene teams how to shave 5-10 minutes off each preventive appointment by the systematic appointment sequence template. As the team becomes fluid with the altered use of technology, up-to-date instrumentation A & A reviews, and sequence strategies, their quality of care increases and their fatigue decreases.

Our services unify the hygiene team through consistency in care, which in turn, provides systematic data for quality care assessments, efficiency, and higher productivity for the dental practice. The typical"Team Unity" is a 7 hour event consisting of the following:

TEAM UNITY

  • 30 minute pre-test of basic knowledge and techniques
  • Didactic introduction of the sequence template, stamp effect & review of common errors
  • Techniques workshop in hand and power instrumentation
  • Ergonomic Urgency
  • Post-Test & Survey

TEAM TRAITS

There are many benefits to a team member understanding their own personality type and they can understand and better deal with personality types differ from their own. Without this knowledge, there is the tendency for inner-office turmoil; teammates fighting amongst themselves because they do not understand each other and different work styles. With the knowledge of specific traits and how each trait category safely responds to situations, team members will have the ability to read other team members and patient personality variations better and recognize other personality types as such, rather than direct vendettas' to annoy one another.

As an example, the sanguine pattern of personality will accidentally leave cabinet drawers open without meaning to be unorganized, while the melancholic pattern of personality may read this behavior as offensive, disrespectful, and selfish. Similar conflicts repeat and build throughout each hour and each day, quickly traveling to various team members so the"office strain" now has control of all the dental teams thought processes rather than the patient treatment at hand. This is where high risk of common medical errors occur and productivity comes to a screeching halt! And do not be fooled thinking the patients do not feel the unspoken office tension in the air during their visit. It can often be embarrassing when that outspoken patient blurts out the obvious…you know the one!

Teams need to be safe, thorough, and productive for the good of the patient and practice. Positive results gained from knowledge of TEAM TRAITS can spawn safe practices and teamwork, with true understanding of genetic traits, and higher productivity in each area of the office. Office tension is not something to hide, but it is something to resolve…and we would love help!

Call our office to discuss the number of participants and potential dates if "Team Unity" and "Team Traits" sparks your interest. We certainly invite the dentist(s) to join in on the event and the friendly competition that develops with pre/post testing and interactive workshops. It would be an honor to get to know your office team.

In summary, indeed we offer advising and instruction in all areas to help you and your office team succeed. Moreover, you can also continue to feel welcome to contact us to help you understand any new techniques or clarify age-old theories in todays' busy practices. You will leave our offices renewed in knowledge, strength, and trust that you are going to love what you do and love where you work!
